Dr Nawaf Obaid is a Senior Fellow at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, where he specialises in intelligence, security, defense d... octrine, the history of warfare, and nuclear strategy. He previously served as a special advisor to two senior former Saudi ambassadors to the US & UK, as well as a special advisor to the former Saudi Minister of Media and to the Presidency of Citizens’ Affairs at the Saudi Royal Court. He has also held lectureship and fellowship positions at Harvard Kennedy School, WINEP, CSIS, and the King Faisal Center. He holds degrees from Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, and King’s College London.
