Our India vs England match report is now live
You can read our full match report of the fourth T20 international between India and England by clicking here.
The report includes more from England skipper Jos Buttler who has been discussing the controversial substitution of Rana for Dube in his post-match news conference.
“It’s not a like-for-like replacement, we don’t agree with that,” said Buttler.
“Dube has either put on 25mph with the ball or Harshit Rana has really improved his batting.
“It’s part of the game, I still think we should have gone on to win the match, but we disagree with the decision,” he added.
I’m sure that’s not the last we will hear about this story.

Dube wins player of the match
He was unable to collect the award due to concussion precautions after he was struck on the helmet, but Dube was a worthy winner of the Player of the Match award.
His half-century came at a vital time for India and ensured that the hosts had a strong score to defend.
For his vital half-century, Shivam Dube bagged the Player of the Match Award in the fourth #INDvENG T20I. 👍 👍

‘We are moving in the right direction’
Suryakumar Yadav was all smiles at the presentation as he reflected on India wrapping up the series in Pune.
“That was a top effort from everyone on the field and the great crowd from start to the end, they were always behind us,” he said.
He also reflected on how India rebounded from being 12-3 to scoring over 180:
“Three wickets in one over was too much, but the way we batted and the positive intent in the middle was great.
“This is one thing we have been talking about, expressing yourself and batting the same way as you do in the nets. I am really happy and I think we are moving in the right direction,” explained Yadav.
The Indian skipper also gave his assessment on his team’s bowling performance as they successfully defended 181.
“I always knew that after the powerplay between 7-10 overs that was a time we could control the game and the same thing happened.
“We got a few wickets and controlled the game,” said Yadav.

‘We should have gone on to win the game’
Jos Buttler was first to speak at the post-match presentation and was asked where the game was lost.
“We started brilliantly, taking lots of wickets and at the end of the batting powerplay we were in a great position and should have gone on to win the game,” he said.
The England skipper was also asked for his takeaways from the series so far.
“We need to double down on the way we want to play. I have been really impressed with how we have committed to that so far.”
It seems that the Bazball approach is here to stay in England’s white-ball team.

India wrap it up with a game to spare
It feels like a long time ago now, but India were 12-3 at the start of their innings as Mahmood ripped through the openers.
But strong performances from Singh, Dube and Pandya took the hosts to over 180 and gave them plenty to defend.
It was another strong bowling performance from India as they kept the pressure on England and wrapped up the win by just 15 runs.
Victory in Pune means that India take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series going into the final T20I in Mumbai on Sunday.

England fall short
After an electric start from Duckett and Salt, England looked well set to make a successful chase.
But a flurry of wickets saw nerves set in, with only Harry Brook showing much resistance as he made a half century.
England yet again struggled against spin with Bishnoi and Chakravarthy picking up five wickets between them.
Rana also had a huge impact, finishing with 3-33.
Overton fought hard at the end, but the loss of his wicket effectively sealed the game for India.
We fall just short in the chase, as India claim victory.
Congratulations to the hosts, who take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series.

A dramatic finale
Fireworks are exploding above the MCA as India mark victory in this T20 series.
There was such tension in the those final few overs as England came very close to chasing down 182.
The tourists lost some needless wickets and will certainly be kicking themselves.
The impact of the concussion substitute Rana will also be a big talking point after this match. He picked up some key wickets for India, but his inclusion is certainly controversial.
