‘We’ve started this group phase in the best way possible’
More from Courtois now as he celebrated his 300th appearance with a win:
“I’m very happy with the win; it was a very tough game with chances at both ends, and we had to sweat for it, but it was an important win against a big team.
“They are Juve, not a small side, and when they defend with 11 men and want to go on the counter, it’s not easy,” he told Movistar.
Real midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has also given some reaction:
“We’ve started this group phase in the best way possible.
“We faced a good team that defend well – and so for us, it’s not so easy, but we were confident we would score.”

Three from three for Madrid
Los Blancos are one of five teams with a 100 percent record after three games in this season’s Champions League.
They sit fifth in the table ahead of their mouthwatering trip to Anfield in a few weeks.
Juventus are currently in the elimination zone, although they have a favourable run of fixtures to come. Their next assignment in the competition is a home game against Sporting on November 4.

Juventus continue to struggle
The Old Lady suffered another loss this evening, following that shock defeat to Como at the weekend.
The pressure continues to intensify on Igor Tudor, with a lot of speculation that his job is on the line.
The Italian giants played fairly well this evening and had chances to snatch a point, but it wasn’t to be, and they remain 25th in the Champions League table.

Madrid get the job done
It wasn’t a vintage Real Madrid Bernabeu performance, but the Spanish giants have secured all three points thanks to Bellingham’s second half goal.
He has Vinicius Junior to thank for the build-up to that goal, but someone still has to put the ball in the back of the net and Bellingham was on hand to do it.
Madrid can now turn their attention to El Clasico at the weekend – although they will have to play better than tonight…
