Jacabo Ramon’s post-match thoughts
“Mallorca are a good team. They scored the goal and then dropped off a bit. We had a lot of chances, their goalkeeper played a great game, but in the end, we managed to win,” unlikely hero Ramon told Real Madrid TV.
“This is inexplicable. I’ve dreamed about it all my life. This shirt is until the end, and there is no better way to score my first goal than like this.”

Real Madrid come from behind to beat Mallorca 2-1
In a must-win match at Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid went a goal down early, in the 11th minute, when defender Valjent struck for the visitors.
Mallorca maintained their defensive shape well, and especially their keeper was terrific in goal for most of the first half.
However, in the second half, Real seemed much improved and equalised through Mbappe in the 68th minute.
Ancelotti’s side looked set for a drab 1-1 draw, but, in a chaotic set piece in the final minute of the match, Mallorca gifted Real the chance to score, and defender Ramon poked home from close range for his first league goal this season.
The 2-1 victory keeps Real Madrid in the hunt for the La Liga title, as they sit four points behind league leaders Barcelona, who have a game in hand.
